Where is that measurement from - to? We found out yesterday that we need one for Ben's Nova, but I'm not sure if a Camaro version will interchange with a Nova.

Conventional wisdom would suggest that the 69 Camaro and 69 Chevy II, using the same sub frame and drive train would be the same. The interchange manual says otherwise. 67-8 Camaro use a 50 1/2 in. shaft, 69 uses 49.5 (approx.). 1st chart 69 Camaro, 2nd 69 Nova http://www.camaros.org/forum/index.php?topic=7861.0;all

I don't know for sure because the sudden snow prevented any measuring today...but I have been told that; The nova measures 53 3/4 from and to end without the yoke...will try to confirm tomorrow.

I was thinking first gen camaro is 3" shorter wheelbase than 68 up nova. I recently found the original drive shaft out of my 69 L78 4 speed nova. The drive shaft it self measured 54 1/2
