Had a very fun visit with FJ Smith in Cayuga today:-)

Great race car and engine building shop, including Superflow Dyno:-)

We walked through the entire engine to get a plan/quote put together. I liked the look of the 50+ Wally Parks NHRA (mostly class wins) trophy's quietly sitting on the shelf off to the side:-)

I think we are on the same page, as long as we can agree on the details.

A little progress to discuss... a &quot;little&quot; progress:-)

Bought solvent, Evaporust, cleaner, and :-)



Borrowed this bushing pusher/puller to start prepping control arms to install. (Thanks Terry) Got the pieces all cleaned up and need to adapt a collar for each size of bushing to these C-Clamps and we should be go for first part assembled:-)



Planned a nice car show this weekend instead of working on the car:-) Dad, RamblerDealer/Terry, and Al Stager (Original Owner of my W31) are coming with me to a Canadian Drag Race History car show. I want to show Al the shiny parts before I start assembly:-)

I bought a distributor, 7 connecting rods, and a set of exhaust manifolds with the passenger side heat shield.

One more little item was delivered by my parents from Texas:-)

Gas tank pad from Patton Glade:-) He even added in a clip for the sending unit wire and screws for the trim at the base of the wind shield. (Thanks)
