ooh, not bad. Some chrome lifting but doesn't look to be much pitting (like mine). Let me know how you do looking for someone to redo. Plating strip and re-chrome would be nice but don't want to loose details.

Scouring the internet looking for info on restoring frames...there's not a heck of people restoring frames. Like you touched on many that have done so complain of loosing detail when rechroming.

I spoke with a gentleman today that worked at Pollard-Ravenscroft from 59-63 last night He says that we are seeking the correct style frames. Mike |

Glad to hear the confirmation. Any info on color difference (Red/Blue) or just what fit the car color best was typically installed? Guess he had enough after 4yrs or did he jump to another dealer?

I plan on talking to him more over the weekend. He didn't specify color, just the style. He went to work for a dealership in Modesto after Pollard-Ravenscroft. Mike |
