Not sure if this fits in this thread but here's a pic that one of my friends posted on facebook. This was his '58 Pontiac and his buddy's day 2 '70 Chevelle SS 454. He didn't know if it was an LS5 or LS6, just that it was fast as hell! lol

William, you are right again, sir. My memory wasn't 100% correct. Seems the #3 was raced a little by some "locals" and powered by a SBC. I think it had a amateurish black stripe that Porterfield removed.
