So in one post it is "crusty" but in another post no rust at all except two little surface spots ?

I never said the car is crusty. I was just asking how he knew it was crusty being he never seen the car. Yes the car has been sitting since the 70's and yes the car needs a full resto..I never said it didn't, but this car is incredible shape to have not been on the road is so long. Hopefully Skip can put a little insight into this. I'm not trying to be argumentative I just hate to see people down the car when they have not seen it, nor do they know the shape of it. It really is a great car to start with compared to some cars that have been outside in the elements for 20+ years..I'm really starting to consider on just keeping it being it needs no metal replacement what so ever.

I know you didn't say it was crusty, CopoCartel said it. We have two people giving to me what sounds like two very different opinions...

There you go...Use your judgement..After restoring several mustangs, I say this car is in extremely good shape...As well as a great car to start with

I know Skip had an orange COPO a while back. Craigslist ad is gone; maybe car is too. Lots to like about this one.

I'm no COPO expert...but based on the photos and the description I would leave it alone. Just make sure the mechanicals are in order and enjoy it. The world doesn't need another pretty face

I thought Mark Bulaw was the go to guy for COPO Information let alone Hemi information. That Guy has found more cars for Everybody than I know. For me I'll stick to old Toronado's, & old VW Convertibles, something I can afford.
