Default Old School hood scoops WIW

Testing the waters of a value for 2 hood scoops I have.
1)I bought a grumpy lump fiberglass back around 79'. Not the hood, just the scoop. It had L brackets on the inside to mount it. Will try and get a pic. but, you guys know what it is. I did mount it on a flat 69 Camaro hood, looks like new.
2)I took this off a Ford BITD. It is a fiberglass teardrop with the screens in the openings. It too is in decent usable shape or I would have pitched it years ago. It was the move from H-- 21 years ago bringing all this stuff to the farm, just getting around to unpacking some stuff.
Thanks guys and sYc.

I'd build a mold and make a run of those! From that basic design, a few different styles can be made.

I believe my "Grump Lump" is cut at the front for air entry? I see a part number from AA on there I recall?? Will need to go to shop to check that.

Mine is really nice shape as well and I guess could be used as a "PLUG" is someone wanted to. BUT it DOES NOT seal the leading or front of the scoop to the hood. Has about an inch opening.

John

John,
Is yours wider in the front than the rear as James's scoop? Speedway has a repro. similar to yours with the opening in the front. While I have not held one in my hand the Speedway dimensions do not mention a width difference front to rear.

Also, John, is your "Lump" ABS plastic or, like mine, fiberglass. I believe a fiberglass as being older and then the plastic became the norm in the late 70s.

Guys, I will try today and get some info off it, but "might" be tomorrow.

My scoop is NOT FOR SALE and thanks to those who PM'ed me, but I'm looking at putting the scoop my '69 Nova with a ZLX with the Edelbrock TR2-X tunnel ram after I do the ZL-1 that's going in it now.
