Here is an event recap article. Good news is that there will be special showcases in 2016 Bad news is that it looks like we sent building G out in style...I am told it is gone to be converted into a micro brewery

RIP Building G

Over the past 7 years the cars on display in building G included restored super cars by a few of the very best Camaro, Nova and Chevelle restorer's along with some really great survivors some of them coming for Vintage Certification. And don't forget the drag cars.
Sad now that "G" will be done, IMO that building had allot to do with this great gathering. Was glad to be part of it, thanks Brian and Joe, and everyone that brought there cars and morabilia to share.

Mike

Right you are Mike. Maybe, collectively, we can find a spot for the SLS. I only do 2 shows a year (actively participate) as I'm really NOT a car-show-guy. Neither show is actually judged and neither show is all that big. Both are more about seeing a small sampling of a specific type of cars we like; same goes for the people. Egos not allowed at SLS or The York US 30 Reunion, both of which are most likely in the rear view mirror after this season unless a new venue and a new promotors are found.
As for the racing, unless you've dumped the clutch at 6000rpm and yanked second gear with the front wheels still dangling, you haven't experienced what in my opinion, is a feeling better than anything related to these cars.
Happy 4th of July to all!!! Keep it safe everyone.

Absent new construction on the fairground I really do not see a way for SLS to continue as it was without a venue change unless they do something out of the box like temporarily wall off half of building T..

York US30 show is going away??? I hope this is not true. I really like that show. I'll be going there this weekend.

I had been part of the York RACE for years. New work schedule no longer allows me to attend. But after 15 years it has just seamed to have become routine and run its course
