Just went off of my memory(back in the day)but based on the dyno it is safe to call it 270 and 200 @28" 180CC port. It started at 158CCs I kept it at 2.020 to keep the shrouding to a minimum 1.750 bowl and a pinch of 2.200 No epoxy or weld, the thinnest spot is .110 Camshaft is one of my spec grinds 302 268 600 straight pattern Compression 11.7to1 VE on this combo is 105 I'm very pleased with this build, on paper Max power should of been 520 and RPM should of hit a wall at 6600. |

1/16-1/16-3/16" rings?
I just ran this through PipeMax (had to guess on LSA and ICL, went with 110° just as a WAG), it showed 108% v.e. That's a lot of meat to take out of those heads--I don't envy you there. (I can almost smell the cast iron!) Have you ever tried a 2.055" with a relief at the top of the bore? I wanted to try this on my 302, but it's so hard to keep compression in these tiny engines, I didn't want to cut that big of a relief in the chamber and on the block. I probably would've lost close to a full point of compression. Again, that's a kick-ass little build you've got there. Can't wait to see what it runs. [img]<<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/ ![]() |

No other change. I saw about 3HP. |

Hey guys, Kenny really killed it with this one, he worked on those heads until his hands bled! Steve at the Dyno Shop was stunned when he did the runs on the motor. We are also doing something very special with the Turbo 400 ..... think Turbo 350 in a Turbo 400 We will be posting some more pictures this weekend of the build, we are leaving everything as is, however we are replacing the front suspension, breaks, break lines, fuel lines, gas tank, etc for safety reasons on the track, but we are leaving the body, dirt, etc as is for the reunion and the Muscle Car Nationals display. We will then do a total Day 2 Restoration in 2016 for judging at the 2016 Muscle Car Nationals. We have also found out from the second owner that this car was purchased from the dealer with a black vinyl top installed, so we will be building the car in a Day 2 format and will include the vinyl top on the build.
Stay tuned
