1991 1LE Camaro-478 built all at Van Nuys plant in California
B2L 5.7 350 with dual catalytic converters 245 hp-Performance rear axle Aluminum driveshaft and spare tire rim-fuel tank baffles to prevent starving in hard cornering No fog lamps either-better cooling without them and save some wieght Heavy duty cooling-Larger sway bars Bright Red Exterior/Red Cloth Interior showing no signs of fading-always kept out of the sun Always properly stored and maintained in a heated building Never any mice or critter issues A former Blackhawk museum car Have info on past ownership-all dealers When I purchased this car it showed 420 miles...It now reads 461 miles It's major voyage was to the local Chevy Dealer who wanted to fill his showroom with unusual Camaro's for the introduction of the all new 2010 Camaro. All other miles are exercise only just to keep things loose. This car has not been rained on or hit with a hose since I purchased it in 2005 and I doubt it was ever in the elements before that. Fuel injectors have been replaced along with the fuel pump for obvious reasons-new battery as well I have owned this car almost 10 years it's time to pass the keys on to the next caretaker-A very unique well cared for vehicle. These cars are coming up on being 25 years old-Hard to believe but they are...and if you have been watching the auctions these cars are being recognized. I have seen a few in Hemmings Motor News both in the mid to high $30K range and a few have gone thru the auctions in the $4o's I have only seen 2 other cars with lower miles than this one Thanks for your interest $34,000 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

I like it. I had an '89 RS in that exact same color combo and it was a beautiful car. The 2.8L was dreadful, but I still loved it. GLWS.

Cool car & uniquely optioned.
I tried to buy one of these brand new,and it was like pulling teeth back then...not to mention lots of foot work. No dealer near me had one and the internet wasn't out,so locating one wasn't easy. Finally found one single dealer in Illinois who did,but he decided to keep it and return my deposit. |

I remember them in the late 80's and I wanted the 1990 model in black with the blue and silver stripe, got a Turbo Charged Red Porsche instead, the porsche was faster but damned expensive to repair.

A friend bought a new 1992 1LE 5-speed, red with red leather, no radio and he had headers dealer installed. I think the factory made headers for them as a kit. Anyway, he and I got to go on a tour of the Van Nuys plant and watch the car being built. That was pretty cool. These are neat cars. Good luck with the sale.
