![]() Another 'Vette w/ a cool history is rolling through this weekend's Mecum Seattle sale, see link below. Originally delivered by Yenko Network dealer Gordon Wilson Chevrolet of Murray/Salt Lake City Utah, this car was ordered for racing also upon arrival the engine sent to Traco for blueprinting and car prepped for the track. I can't find the old thread but being one of the few '66 L72/M22 cars w/ 4:56 rear, this car is much like the one Yenko ordered/delivered for Mike Summers to race also others similar we've looked at here before? In the old thread, we talked about the '66 cars that got L88's previous to the '67 L88's built as an RPO, wasn't this Wilson car one of them we discussed then also maybe had a Dick Guldstrand connection? Either way, it's cool the car's alive and still racing but it seems the sale could be better presented w/ more details of its past also its significance in the old Corvette world? Anyone that knows more, please feel free to add!
