Traction bar color
I've never saw a color ad for Motion Performance parts. What color were their traction bars? May have found a set for a Vega.

I bought a set of traction bars from Joel about 14 years ago when I had my Vega and they were black..spray painted with a can and quite crude construction..crappy actually.

I would bet during the booming years, when manufacturing was up that the final product and presentation may have been better.

This response is probably MUCH too late for the question, but it might be helpful later on to someone. I ran across the original NMW traction bar I purchased from Motion Performance back in mid 70's for my Corvette motion conversion that never materialized. It is a very crudely made item, and is poorly painted light silver. I have the original box and instructions as well as the bill of sale from Motion, so I am certain this is how the NMW bars came.

I took some pictures of the traction bar and box, but I can't send them because they are too big? I do not know how to make them any smaller. If someone knows, tell me and I will try.
