That would help, but more importantly is the casting date on each block.

Got the pics, here's what I get below.
When you can read Vin stampings, counting backwards the <span style="text-decoration: underline">8'th digit from the end</span> denotes model year.
Best always confirm block casting # jives w/ what you see.
If you can read the CMA block Vin check for model year digit (probably a 4).
