BBC Exhaust Manifolds
I have a pair of reproduction BBC exhaust manifolds. Part numbers 3909879 3916178. Cast E.28.8. They're in excellent condition with nothing broken or cracked. They are non-smog.

Are you sure those are original? The fonts and casting looks wrong and there are no screws around the dates.

Jason, I purchased them from a guy who said they came off his dad's 1968 El Camino. I assumed they were original. Is there a way to figure out if they're repops?

I can take a couple pictures of originals later today. The fonts are different, the casting finish is different, and the date codes have screw blanks on the outsides. The repops have known E288 dates.
