Haven`t been there in quite some time, I was stationed at Marine Corps Air Station El Toro back in the 80`s. Coming from Chicago I couldn`t believe how organized and clean they were in and around Orange county. Just like this one, all the cars were arranged so you could have access to any of them for any parts you may need! One of them had all of their cars on jack stands!

The "U-PULL It" yards are like that today here around Chicago.
Every vehicle on a cement slab, and usually on jack stands.
Make sense for them,as you pay their outrageous fee to enter, then sign a waiver saying you won't sue if injured.

Really? How much? In CA, it's either 1 or 2 dollars.

I haven't visited one since 2007,(Aurora & Blue island),but back then it was $10 to enter, regardless if you buy anything or not.
They wouldn't tell you if a part or vehicle you were looking for is in there beforehand either...I turned around & left.
I'm told today they check your pockets & tool box before you leave,as many disgruntled guys realize once they walk in,there is nothing left,so they try to pocket a part to make up for the adm. fee.
That's just sad for everybody.

No oil or other bad stuff gets into the soil. That's a good thing. It's the environmentalists here in Calif. They pretty much rule the state and Gov. Moonbeam Brown is their puppet. But we can also thank the tree huggers for a 55 MPH speed limit for our truck drivers (even in the middle of the desert!) and the highest taxes in the nation. No wonder businesses don't want anything to do with us.
