Chevrolet AC Fuel Pump Part #4799 59-61 High Performance 348/409. Primarily used in solid lifter applications. Appears that upper body has been installed but unsure if used. Lower body looks to be NOS with female threads indicating no use.

Jody, If you look in the hole above the outlet you will find a date code. The year is cast in and each hash mark is a month. Also, it wasn't taken apart to remove the lever spring because it still has the original staked pivot pin.

Your application is correct. '59-'61 hi-perf W motor. It was not used in production later, so this one is a replacement, however not even the NCRS guys have caught up with checking that date on pumps. It would be fine on ANY restored car with the above application. The gaskets are original as well and that's a fine point people look for. The rebuilders don't have those gaskets. It's a rare pump.
