Listing this for a friend.....so....

1969 L78 396/375hp engine. 1000 miles on fresh, professional rebuild of original assembly. Carb: 3923289/4053. Intake: 3933163. Heads: 3919840/ L 12 8. Block: 3855961/ K 23 8. Also includes correct eight inch balancer, timing chain cover, water pump, and fuel pump. Has incorrect deep sump oil pan. No distributor. Call or email for details or with questions. Greg, if that motor had my vin. stamped on it the price would be ok but I think it might be $3,500 too much. Good luck.

Wasn't the 3855961 block only used in 1965 and 1966?
