Paul, wish I knew the year. I am very sorry, but unfortunately, I don't. Don't think it's an early year though.

Some times the date is on the tag or stamped on the case. Looks like the 1980's to me.

Not positive but I think it might be dated 1978. Used in a variety of cars and years.

78 was the first year for the 3 plug (blue, white and black) "corporate" radio that worked in almost everything. This should fit upto 1985 in almost every vehicle across the GM line.
