When did GM start stamping nbrs on Camaro frt stubs? The nbr doesn't match any other nbr on the car. I'm 99% sure it's the original.

My old '70 Camaro had a frame rail stamp part #.

So the stamp is a part nbr rather than a hidden VIN or body nbr? Is it the part nbr for the frame rail, bare frame, or a complete assembly?
