Default Opinions/ Gardner chembereed system for 67 Camaro?

I wanted to put a chambered system on my 67 Z. Gardner's website does not list prices or vendors. I saw the recent thread on the Camaro site about thier muffler issues, but has anyone used thier chambered setup on a 67-68?
How about anyone else's set-up?? Anyone?

And what price is thier all stainless set-up? anyone know?
Does Rick's or 'ground up' sell their stuff?

thanks

What was the muffler issue? Do you have a link?

The only way to get their exhaust is to buy it from Gardner. I have their exhaust on my 72 T/A and it is a piece of art. Every pipe slides into place and points exactly where it is supposed to point. Their customer service is really good, too. (as I found out when my car had a backfire and I needed to replace my bulged muffler)

They don't list the prices on their site. I guess that is so they can personnaly talk to the customer so they can discuss exactly what you need.

The Gardner system is great! Have the chambered system on my Chevelle. On two instances, the driver's side chambered muffler baffle came loose and was rattling at idle. On both instances, Eric took care of it with no conflict!

It's expensive, but it's worth it!

My opinion....save yourself some aggravation and buy the Gardner stuff. They cost more, but we all know you get what you pay for. I installed a set of Gardners on my Chevelle and on my 70 Z28. My 72 SS Camaro has Gardners too. They fit perfect. Period.

I just received my Gardner system for the 68 Camaro and immediately went through it and checked it over. I buy LOTS of Chevelles systems but this was the first Camaro system I have purchased (from them). Eric went out of his way to ship me the system how I wanted it such as natural finished exhaust hangers instead of zinc plated ones. I have not hung their system yet but if it is like the Chevelles I have no concerns. Their stuff is VERY expensive but when I demand the best I am also not afraid to pay for it.

Just call em up. It is a Family owned business that caters to our segment. That is the type of business I try to support. I have exhaust ordered from them for my Nova. Tell em I said to give em some crap.

I've never bought a set from them but I did install a set for a customer. Like said above fit like a glove, very easy to install and sounded awesome. I highly recommend Gardner Exhausts.

-----I have installed several Gardner sets and never had a problem of any kind. Personally, if they do stainless I still wouldnt order it. Aluminized is very good any more, and these cars so rarely ever get wet. These exhaust sets will probably outlast most of us!!!

-----As well, our original exhaust pipes werent aluminized, but the aluminized pipes do appear more original than stainless pipes......Bill S

I just put the order in with Gardner for my 69 Chevelle, a chambered/aluminized basic system.. I think it was around $1,300... I spoke to Tom there he was very nice and helpful..
