Somebody playing 'God' and needlessly deleting my post after I had taken the time to type that up with my time-consuming, two-finger typing. I had mentioned that possibly of painting the tires with a flex agent in the paint after the cleaning to give them a nice appearance. I have a friend that added the Blue Streak to a newer set of slicks with paint and they actually look very nice.

Yes, I have repainted the blue streak myself. Donnie White is real good at that stuff also. Vintage is the key anymore IMO.

that is my blue streak from the earlier post, i just pic them up they are 29x9 15 Cheater slicks the date on mine are 2A0CJ87R and 2COM5N9R dont know what year they are from but there old and very very minor checking doing the day 2 on the rare4k needed a bigger tire than the 14s I was running take a look http://l78camaro.ning.com/

Tony the research Ive found is the 6 digit blue streaks are 60s to 1970 in 71 and 72 they used a 8 digit code like what we have, after 71 in 1972 and up the used a nine and ten digit code hope that helped Phil.
