Congrats on your new toy Wayne!.
Were all 1LE cars body color instead of black roof also how is it indicated on the paperwork or vehicle and was it available at no cost or an extra?.

Hi Pete. I've only seen three fourth generation 1LE's in person -- the black '94 I bought new, a red '95 and this one. All had paint-matching roof panels and mirrors (of course, it didn't matter much with my black car ). When all of the paperwork arrives I'll see what's on it. IIRC, it was standard with the 1LE and no charge. Right now Mackie is scheduled to haul the car from Winnipeg, and from what I gather, their trucks are in Ontario or eastern Canada (fingers crossed...out here the weather is pretty good, but boy you guys are getting hammered ).

I'd absolutely love to keep it for a bit, but I'm positive I'll need the $$$ for my Nova project (I sure don't need to tell anyone here how quickly a total build gobbles cash...L-O-L).

Take care man...and Stay Warm!!!

If you're ever in Penticton, I can get you in to have a look at this garage and collection. The 1991 1LE car is in this collection, and was bought new here as well. I was a sponsor for the two years it competed in the Players Challenge.
There's quite a few nice cars in this collection.

As soon as the Blue 1LE gets here, I'll add some more photos (might be a few weeks, since a couple of the big trucking outfits here in Canada can't deliver until after Christmas -- although we're hoping to get a smaller operator to do the haul before then).

BTW: That last photo definitely gives me garage envy
