How can I figure out what those line codes are? I've heard of F, H, and X bodys and so on, but what is an E1 line code? I've got some columns that I'd like to figure out too.

I think that's production line, not product line.

Kurts' right, and my earlier reply should actually be for last digit of the year assembled,(the column as a whole that is),not when installed into the vehicle.

Line codes are random for Delco-Remy and have no bearing on a specific vehicle.Meant more for quality control then anything else. |
