Yes; about 2% of all '69s according to our un-scientific db.

Don't know why. I think it is a great color. A friend had one a few years back; sold new at Nickey Chev.

An early production Burgundy Z/28 is believed to have had red stripes.

i owned a 6 cyl code 67 car. it was rotted to death. sold it for parts. tore me up because i knew how few ive seen with just that body color alone.

ALSO I THINK THAT CODE 67 WAS A NORWOOD COLOR ONLY ? LA BUILT CAR DID NOT HAVE THAT COLOR AVAILABLE ?

Didn't we see that Burgundy/red stripe combo when Darren assembled the &quot;one of every color&quot; in 2008, maybe ?

Los Angeles built at least one Burgundy '69 RS Z/28 that I know of (now which garage did I put that in???)......

Code 67 67 - Burgundy (no vinyl top) / White Stripes / Black Deluxe Interior / 01D build date / currently finished in Burnished Brown.

Not sure why this was a special order color for LA built cars but I like it anyway.....

I recently sold a color code 67 1969 Z/28 NHRA superstocker. Neat car and color!!
