Default Factory appearing Tall Valve Covers?

Does anybody out there make factory appearing BBC valve covers that will clear race roller rockers? I'd like to give my father's race motor a factory appearing look (valve covers and air cleaner, plus correct decals) before he puts it in his 70 Chevelle Wagon, and also we'd like to put roller rockers on our 427 for our 69 Camaro? I've seen valve cover spacers before but never the tall covers... Has anybody used the 1" spacers? Do they work well?

Year One offers tall "stock appearing" covers...but iirc, the Crane or Comp gold series rockers will go under the stock covers with double gaskets & no baffles...we've run the spacers before, and they're ok if you paint them, but on our next engine we're gonna use the stock appearing covers.

Here is a picture of the right side of a 540 with roller rockers that I installed these on. They worked great.

Larry,

Year One buys the valve covers from Noah. Best thing to do is wait till Year One sends you one of their 15% off cards and order up a couple of sets. They are always on backorder from Year One. My L72 has these valve covers with a .615 lift and full roller rockers and I had zero problems.

Larry I bought these from Noah thru e-bay several years ago. I remember the price being very reasonable and the quality was very good. The covers are canted and I think there would be room for a stud girdle.

I had a set of the aluminum 1 inch spacers machined off to 1/2 inch and at first glance you almost can't tell they are there. that was all I needed to clear rollers.

The covers from Noah are 3/4'' taller than stock.
