Ah, headed South down Main Street. There's a cool piece of open road just ahead.

The Machine Shed! And I just missed lunch.

I 'spect, Dennis, if you hit-it good at the top of the hill heading out of town you could play "Streets of San Francisco" on your way to the Shed!!

From the look on the Wabbits face I would say he was not from the Obama camp

Ah Donahue, Iowa! Take a trip back into time! A serene life style! Looks to me to be about April 1970 or so in the pictures.

i just returned from donahue this afternoon..........the mayor and i had a nice conversation that turned into a bit of a discussion about which Deuce was faster.....the yellow one or the freshly restored blue one of Sams.....i said sams and obviously ken said his....soooooo, i jumped into the blue one and ken uncovered his. we head out onto the 2 lane and go at it ......unfortunatley the yellow car was ahead but i was gaining fast when all of a sudden there is a cop.....sure enough he nabs me. obviously he knows of the mayors car so im sure he didnt look twice. since i couldnt prove ownership, the car was impounded and i had to sit in the clink until the owners were notified......the police had to call the Roof's to come claim their car(because its still in their name) for the impound fee(of $1000) which they gladly said they would pay. so sorry to Sam for losing to the mayor but i was gaining on him.... maybe i can use sams chevelle next time !!

hey!!! it could've happened !

Sam, by the way, the car looks even better in person ! Schoenthaler Restorations did a fantastic job !! i was definetly in "deuce Heaven"
