Default 1966 Caprice 2-door with low miles, factory 396

Selling my 66 Caprice 2-door. Super solid and rust-free West Coast car. Great car with only 41000 miles, and loaded with nice options including the following: - 325hp 396 - Turbo 400 trans - factory buckets and console - factory gauge package - power windows The interior is all original and is in great shape. The one exception is the headliner, which has a split seam. Engine was removed and highly detailed due to previous owner doing a sloppy spray-can detail job. Runs and drives excellent. Has been repainted back in the 70s, and is in need of a repaint. Paint looks good from 20 feet, but is oxidized and checking. Price is $8500. Overall, a great car for the money. Email me at [email protected] or call 360-608-0093.

Couldn't resist the siren's call any longer. Car is now in Seattle. Driven nonstop this past Sunday from Vancouver 150 miles with no real issues. Boy these things drive nice.

Look for my upcoming posts in the restoration/discussion threads asking about which modern paint formulas best approximate the code M-M Aztec Bronze, and also if anyone knows if any of the seat cover outfits have setup for '66 Caprice bucket interiors in Bronze (these were nicely redone in a close-but-no-cigar reddish deep burgandy years ago).

Thanks Rainer. (I will send pics after its painted!)

Cool Tom! That was a tempting cruiser at that price. The 396 is the icing on the cake. Ask kwhizz about big-car seat covers. I think he has recent experience with that as he restored his '66 Biscayne.
