Thanks for the feedback guys. I thought this plate would have been taken too. We went to DMV with a long list of plate ideas, and much to my surprise, the first one I asked about was available. Many/most people looking at the plate probably have no idea, it's even a vanity plate. It's a "car guy" plate, which is what I really wanted.

I really don't know what happened to him. I've been buying antennas from him for years. I guess he finally ran out of nos antenna's??

Frank... This car has never been to a car show, here or anywhere else. You must be thinking of another one. This car was junk, until recently. I just finished it a couple weeks ago.

Stacy, it's a 69. Actually it came from your neck of the woods, Southern California. It was purchased there in 1969, and stayed there it's whole life. The restoration was documented here on SYC, in another thread. Here's a shot of the whole car.

Very nice .I like the plate and the Elky . I registered my Year Of Manufacture (YOM) plates on my blue 68 today .
