Is there a picture of the car that was chosen as Participant's Choice?

Great job by all involved! Thanks to Stefano, Bob Ashton, Ken and Kase for the photos, and all of the folks who took their prized cars to Chicago.

Looks like a very nice event! Congrats to all participants and thanks for the pictures guys!

Anyone have shots of a '66 Vette 427/390, pipes, red/black convert? I am wondering how the paint looked on that car...
What about a '67 Vette convert Blue/black/black stinger 435 car?

Thanks,
Dan

Not a whole lot I can add to Ken's coverage. He always does a fantastic job of bringing the feel of an event to everyone who isn't able to attend. to you Sir.

Here'a a few more shots I was able to grab between rounds of chat with so many good people.

The trip on Friday was thankfully uneventful, UNLIKE what the Eastern guys had to deal with. Very happy no one had any serious issues, other than frazzled nerves.

Got to Rosemont, pulled through the Staging lot and right into the building,.......... only to run into some crazy lady trying to fly.

Things started filling up fairly quick and the floor plan started coming together.

After some serious weather delays, the SCW bunch finally started rolling in. Glad everyone made it there safe.
Fran Roberts' fresh L-78 car.

Joe's Dana Nova.

And the "White Cars" finally met.

Then it's clean-up time.

Later in the evening, time to unwind a little and relax with friends,

grab something to eat,

and get cozy.

A few more random shots.

Can't imagine much good coming from this meeting.

Geez; this is scary!

The Judges giving Tommy a work-over.

And Brian holding court, explaining the concept of the Special Award in the Nova Showcase.

The Nova display was absolutely outstanding. Congrats Brian on putting together an amazing display. Glad I wasn't part of the voting, I'd never be able to pick a favorite. My wife however fell in love with Rick Thayer's Nova. Couldn't believe how much time she spent by the car..
