I used to go fresh blasted natural with satin clear so they stayed nice and crisp and cleaned up easy

This is how it looked in the late '70s at E-Town.



I'm leaning toward natural or medium myself. He also had the brake drums painted blue, but that's one feature I'm NOT bringing back...

I'll probably put the tach back on the steering column where it was originally. There are no extra holes up on the dash; he made a bracket that used an existing inst cluster hole.

I like the dark gray, but it's hard to beat that pic of it at English Town.
