Man, this is a really cool thread! I got a lot of old Chicago shots. I am a collector of 1910 era real photo postcards. I will post some if you guys want. Here is one near Madison St & Central Ave. in Chicago's Austin Neighborhood circa the teens.

Maple & 31st Street in Berwyn. I live right by this street and it looks absolutely identical to this shot circa 1925. 63rd & Woodlawn, Chicago circa 1909.

Milwaukee & Diversey Chicago circa 1907. Adams St. E. of Pulaski circa 1909. My father grew up on this block. It is now the worst neighborhood in the City of Chicago.

18th & Blue Island. Czech Pilsen Neighborhood Chicago circa 1909. This neighborhood is a time capsule and looks almost the same today. Czech Pilsen Chicago circa 1897

Maxwell St. Chicago circa 1969. If you are REALLY a true Chicagoan (and of course are old enough) then you went to Maxwell St. on Sundays for a deal and a Polish Sausage. This is part of Chicago's past. Grand Ave. circa August 1966.

[/ QUOTE ] Been through there a LOT of times...even stayed over night once (transporting Gary's Camaro to AZ...what a FUN time that was!). They did a double take on the name on the credit card...LOL
