Default Smiths tack

I am trying to find some info on this tack.
What vintage do you think it is?
This tack has 3 wires a red wire a white wire and yellow wire. I think the red should be power, the white ground and the yellow coil wire???????

I was at a local car show last night and saw that tack
on several cobras 427s in the dash that were assembled in Africa.

British stuff...better open it up and make sure where those wires go before you try it.

Joseph Lucas had nothing to do with those.
