Looks like I either have a chewed flywheel or a beat up starter gear (won't know until I drop starter and start looking at stuff) when I have a long crank going (to bring fuel back to the Holley) there is a flatspot somewhere and the starter will spin. Question, although the flywheel is orig (was machined when restored) is there a better flywheel people are running on BBs these days.? Durability/reliability is the goal and the orig starter (418 I think.?) was rebuilt. Any advice, Thx in advance

Ring gear can be replaced if you have original flywheel.
