Expected it was BS also looking deeper, ad appears crafted from a 2018 sale for N618870.
Being a tough find, what of tracking known genuine examples and approaching owners?

Where is John Berry's old car? Was featured in Jerry's book. It is 86 units after my black Z, built the same day, I believe; at least the same week.

Was supposed to be a 5,000 mile example back when Jerry wrote the book; but there were a few questionable things you would not expect on a 5k mile car. IIRC, it had an aftermarket blue mylar vin decal in the door. Mine never had one; I suspect it didn't either.

I found 1 in CT, Z/28 Dover white, RS, X33, Endura, factory JL8 car. As usual, owner told me to pound sand when I asked if for sale...lol

Hello, my brother is thinking of selling his '69 Z/28. He purchased at Mecum Houston auction about 5 years ago. He's not in a hurry and haven't advertised it yet. I'd love to see the car go to a real "Car Guy" on the board here. It's factory white, black stripes and white standard interior. Very cool car, I'll PM you a few pics.
