| Thrust button for hydraulic roller - stock appearing

Hi folks, I am building a somewhat stock appearing SBC with a hydraulic roller. Has anyone had any luck getting a factory stamped timing cover to work? Thanks! |

Both my roller cam motors have stock timing covers. No issues with either one.

I use the stock timing covers on both SBC's and BBC's here with rollers. Works fine. As long as end play is where it needs to be, all good.

Great. Which timing set and button type are you using?

I made a bracket that bolts to the back of the water pump with a preload bolt that pushes against the timing cover to set end play and support the cover.
