I remember the AF/X display from our local Penney's , but that was s long time before I drove.... it was like a little speed shop and most of what they had was higher quality stuff than the parts store had......and 25 times bigger than my parts .....
.. .for model cars , I was a model car Junkie

Nice Valve covers. I have couple sets of the same ones with SUPER/STOCK embossed in them. The only issue with these valve covers is that the manufacturer put the baffle/PVC holes directly over rocker arms so you MUST install a shield on the inside of the valve cover or you will puke oil mist directly into your twist on oil cap/baffle or into the PVC. I like these day 2 valve covers a lot but they missed the mark in that one area. GM valve covers have the hole cut directly in line with the upper and lower valve cover bolts and the GM internal baffles do a really good job.
Just an idea for the new owner, here's what I did to mine. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Tommy |

Tommy
good eye idea... I'm sure he'll see the post and appreciate it. ... I have a vintage NOS pair of M/T's going on my 302 with baffle provisions , I'm only opening up the PCV & Oil cap. . .they have factory baffles. Tom.
