Good morning Gang:
My car had GM fender flags, like this. . . Same size as 396/427 emblems - large flags but no "427Turbo-jet". . . May have been big block '67 Impala flags. You could tell it was a V8 but no mention of cubic inches . . . No hint of anything 'special' under the hood . . . When asked about the motor back in the day, "just a stock V8"
