I purchased a Gardner exhaust systme for a 1969 Camaro and it does not appear that I am going to use it. Will it fir a 1970 Camaro? They both are BB cars and are the same length.

Doubt a 69 system will fit a 70.

Technically they are not the same system at all.
Not one component is shared to the other, from the leadpipes to the tailpipe hangers. Now will it fit a 70 camaro?..My grandfather & his BFH could've made it fit. ![]() |

Call Gardner, they could probably tell you if it will or not.

The 70 system has the hangers laid out differently than 69. I understand that they are now working on producing the correct muffer as well. (Thanks to Randy)
I would just sell your 69 system and get the correct 70 system. It will be worth it considering the car your doing. ![]()
