Default 1966 Ford F-250 Camper Special

This truck was purchased by my brother in Arizona and shipped to me here in MN to be made into a Street Rod. He has since decided against the project and has asked me to sell the truck.

It is a 1966 2WD F-250 Camper Special which lived it's whole life in Arizona until it was shipped to MN nine years ago where it has been in storage till this summer. The truck has no rust other then surface where the paint is thin. As far as I know it has it's completely original 2WD drivetrain and ran beautifully when it was originally stored and will need a fuel system and brake flush to be streetable. The dealer installed new tires and Ford mags when it was deliverd to MN and the tires have less then 100 miles on them. The underpans are so original the Red Oxide primer is still visible. I believe only one fender has ever been replaced. No rust holes anywhere. The box has lots of surface rust and the interior needs seat upholstery but otherwise extremely solid. Would make a great Street Rod, restored original or daily driver. Truck has clear title.

I am looking for $3000 ($2500 to sYc member) or best offer within 3 weeks. You can call me at;

Would it help if I put a Bow-Tie emblem on it?

What engine is that? A 390? We had one very similar to that except it was a straight 6 and a 4 speed. Tough as nails but I could never say what it ran like on the highway... it was our feed truck and wore snowchains year around. Amazing how much mud you can go through with a set of chains on!!
