Lombard
According to the Doppler it looked as though the rain was done for the evening and since my car is a driver and is not afraid of a little water of I went. Plus I had a real craving for a slice of Bona Pizza ( I worked there as a kid). I drove through town and was actually surprised that there were e twenty or so cars parked along St Charles Rd. Around 6:30 the sky's got really dark and one more cell of rain came through. At this point I was afraid that some hail might be on the way so I got in the car and started driving west to clear sky's. By the time I drove to Wheaton the sky was clear and the sun was peaking through. We turned back to Lombard and parked. Went down to Bona and got a slice, it was better than I remembered. Kudos to all of the cars that showed up. The car that caused the biggest stir was not a Z/28 or street rod but an Dodge SRT Challenger. I would'nt trade my 70 Trans Am for it but it is certainly very cool...

It started drizzling on the way there and I found out quickly that my wipers were dead. Not many people there but it was still great to get out after a long winter.  Mike's car is beautiful.   Best part was the covered parking cause it poured twice when we finally got there.
