Default 68 Hemi Roadrunner 14,914 actual mile 4 speed

I hate to sell it, but I have listed my 68 Hemi Roadrunner on Ebay since I am out of garage space due to my latest purchase. It is a real deal original survivor with only 14,914 actual miles. They are only original once and it would be hard to duplicate this rare find. This unique Hemi has the patina that one would expect on a 40 year old car and is not restored. It is a 2 door hardtop with 4 speed. Substantial documentation including original sales contract, certi card, Galen Govier paperwork and inspection report is shown on the Ebay site. There is a large 3 ring binder of documentation included with the sale.

It can be viewed at: EBAY PAge Hemi Roadrunner

It is available to view in Sanford, FL (Orlando)

Thanks

Dave

Thanks for the advice. My email address is [email protected] and phone is 407-947-9289. Car is seriously for sale and has a reasonable reserve for what it is. My plan is to let the auction process help determine the value, but I would welcome calls from interested parties and will be up front on my expectations.

Here is the auction link. Very nice car. This site requires that you post the reserve for the auction.

The reserve is 130,000.00. I paid substantially more for the car, but I will lift the reserve at 130K. I would also entertain purchase offers at that number.

Sorry, did not know that this information had to be released.

Thanks

Hi Dave,

One quick question - in no way a dig but just curious: This car has been listed for sale by numerous owners over the last 1-2 years, so I am just curious as to how it is considered a "one owner" car?

Original owner was Dale Lyons; then a fellow named Edman Lis had Galen inspect it in 2006; Mark Young from Chev Connection sold it at B-J 2008; then it was sold (I think) at Mecum's two weeks ago; and now you have it listed. I may be missing a few owners as well, or may have my facts wrong. But as a guy who is really, really particular about history and how a car is represented it struck me as odd that many guys have owned the car and it is still a "one owner."

I have seen your car and it is indeed a very impressive original car. IMHO, I see no harm in stating that the original owner owned it until (fill in year) and then sold it to (joe, who sold it to bob, who sold it at auction to sam) etc.

Again, just curious as to the description which clearly doesn't take anything away from the car- but I would think an accurate owner list would only help the sale to somebody like me.

Colin
