How can you tell a original Dual Snorkel from a Repro?

I have heard that there are notches along the seam of the snorkel on the originals while the repros are a solid seam; if that makes sense.

Ok is there a way to tell if the lid is an original?

Pretty sure the repro's have the notches too.
