My 1OC LOS car still has it's original shorty spoiler, and I know the early cars had the 68 decklid width(narrower) for the stripes. My queston is this-If I buy one of those $20 stencil kits on ebay specifically for a 68,was there any difference between the hood width stripes from 68 to 69?.Also is 9/32 pinstripe and 9/32 gap to main stripe correct?

I doubt your car was built with the '68 rear striping. At best maybe a handful of very early Z/28s were done that way.

That's entirely possible as it has long since had original paint,Just going off the pics in Macneish's book on pg 73 and assumed they widened the stripes when they changed to the later spoiler.
