What does the number on the tag mean on a 68 Muncie tranny....tag no. 3925626

Tom... I looked it up in my 68 Nova assembly manual and #3925626 matches a Muncie M22.

Thanks, that's what I thought too...took off the side cover tonite and it's got the correct looking gears...according to Colvin,they only made 167 Novas with the M22 in 1968. Original owner told me he ordered it with that trans...it has the drain plug, too. Just getting ready to start the next project...thanks.
