Olds Day at the Pavillions: 23 Feb 08

Friday was not a good car show day. Saturday, well, it was the opposite of Friday. I actually got a sunburn w/ plenty of laugh lines. I helped John Habeeb take his newly acquired '70 W-31 post car up while he drove his one owner (his Dad bought it new in the fall of '69) 442. So we started our 40 mile trek to the Pavillions at about 0830 on this rotten Saturday morning in the Sonoran Desert. Ah, the sacrifices I make.

John's Post car. I drove this car for the 1st time and I LIKE these Olds small blocks. Very punchy, handles better w/ less weight over the front wheels. However, develops very little vacuum, therefore no power brakes!!
