JL8 Caliper Brackets

What is the original factory finish on the JL8 front Caliper Brackets, Silver or Gold?

When I took mine off you could still see the gold finish where the back of the brackets contact the spindle boss. It didn't look like they had ever been off but I don't know for sure.

Thanxs for the quick response. I feel confident to have them replated gold with your response. Are you plating your brackets gold.

Everything I've seen indicates they should be gold cad plated. I don't have my parts with me so I can't actually look at them, they are at the shop.

i have owned 5 JL8 camaro's through the years and yes they were gold

This is the longest I have ever owned a car! 8 years and 1 month, and it has been taken apart for 8 years!

[/ QUOTE ]I sent mine in with my brake booster and had them plated at the same time. When I removed the brackets the only thing I thought of was the same finish as the brake booster.
