We're off school today too... We just got a bunch of ice here though, which nowadays is more of a cause for school delays and cancellations than snow accumulation. Funny that I'm 32 years old and still get excited about snow days, early dismissals, and summer vacation.

We ended up with about 4.5 inches of snow and a snow day here

, some places in the St. Louis area got about a foot of snow.

That is a beautiful sight. We are still waiting for our first substantial snowfall! One big snow and then I will be ready for Spring.
