Guys , any thoughts on the $140 and $165 values for COPO Chevelle's right now? I dont know these cars but apparently they were good, (rumours about 1 being rebodied but the other was supposedly a no story car). Is this the price range for COPO Chevelles ? The $140 being the clm shift auto and the $165 being the 4 sp. Any private deals at this level ? Curious on your thoughts : Bob

The frost green one that was rumored about being rebodied was not. That car came from the Chicago area and was restored by Fred Nolan. When it was restored it was very nice but I believe that was in the early 90s.

I think you will find that the Fred Nolan car came from British Columbia and has GM of Canada documentation.

Fred Nolan's old COPO was one of the best I had ever seen once he was done restoring the car. All NOS parts. The color combo doesn't carry a premium and the fact that it was column shift always kept the price down.
I didn't have a chance to look at the car, but was told that a bunch of NOS parts had been pirated off the car since Fred first sold/finished it. |

Perhaps the parts went on a more desireable COPO to boost its value.
