A friend of mine is interested in this car: 70 RS Z w/Air My opinion of the car is yes it could possibly be a real 70 Z w/factory air but unless you have some bullet proof documentation to prove that, it will always be questioned. What do you guys think?

Oh, and also if it was a factory job, would it have some sort of unique prefix for the engine build code?

I don't know about 70 Z28's but shouldn't it have a 12 bolt?
![]() Looks like a lot of work... As far as a Z28 with AC...I have no clue...though I thought they never came with it...the whole solid lifter-high revving engine reason... ![]()

It is missing everything a real Z28 should have except emblems, and they are in the wrong locations.

Yeah, just got a good look at the pics and you're right, not much correct there....wrong tach, etc. Looks like possibly a trim tag mistake, not about the AC but the Z28.

I thought 73 was the first year for A/C in a Z.?
