If this guy has "more rare big block stuff than any one I have ever heard about", why did he not realize his old truck had a ZL1 motor in it until he was in the process of pulling it out? He can't tell a ZL1 from an old truck motor if it has a coat of krylon on it? Maybe that floating Hemi is an aluminum block too... better check that out.

Stranger things have happened. I've found 2 ZL1 bare blocks and 2 near complete ZL1 motors here in Ga. 1 was in a purple Chevelle with a set of Grumpy's heads that were off his '70 Camaro. The heads were reunited with the Camaro when sixtiesmuscle bought it.
![]() Odder still was when X11 71 71 found the original engine to my BBrown COPO somewhere in the Northeast. The car itself had only been in W Va, Fla and NM. |
