Battery went dead today, I bought a new one and took my alternator with me to have it checked (it's good). Car fired right up, we went to our local cruise spot, and when we got back, I put the charger on the new battery and it's almost dead.
One other piece of info, the last few times I've fired up the car, the "GEN" light comes on for a few seconds then goes out. Why is the battery not getting charged all of a sudden. Thanks! |

It sounds like there is something drawing down the battery, even with the key out. Put a meter inline and see what amp draw there is which can help you pinpoint the problem.
